Friday 3/7

"Fractured Yet Rising" at Arc Gallery A multimedia exhibit examining violence against women. Reception 6-9 PM.

"Interlacing Threads: Traditional Techniques | Contemporary Perspectives" at Columbia College Hokin Gallery The closing day of a group show featuring contemporary fiber work with political and sociocultural themes.

Saturday 3/8

"Head" at Western Exhibitions Your last day to see a group show featuring paintings, photographs, sculptures, and installations inspired by the head.

"Menagerie" at Elephant Room, Inc. The last day to view paintings by local artist George Keaton.

Sunday 3/9

"The Way of the Shovel" at Museum of Contemporary Art The last day to see an exhibition exploring art and archeology. Read Sam Worley's write-up here.

"Teen Paranormal Romance" at Renaissance Society The first day of a group show featuring sculpture, photography, and video inspired by young-adult novels such as Twilight, The Hunger Games, and Divergent. Reception 4-7 PM.
