Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Kick off the Year of the Horse with a variety of Chinese New Year celebrations this afternoon. Check out a party at the Chinese-American Museum of Chicago that features a traditional lion dance, Chinese tea, sweet dumplings, sweet and savory sesame balls, and other yummy round things. RSVP required.

The Juggernaut Film Festival, hosted by Chicago Filmmakers, was named for a Ray Bradbury story about the world's most enormous, jazzy, surreal house-moving party. The fest's organizers hope the collected sci-fi shorts will channel that same spirit of wonder and possibility, and turn its audience into true believers.

Iron & Wine performs at the Old Town School of Folk Music tonight, but Peter Margasak recommends getting there early to see opening act the Haden Triplets. He praises the three daughters of jazz bassist Charlie Haden and the pieces on their new self-titled album, writing that they "don't take pains to modernize or otherwise transform these songs, instead focusing on the beauty of their braided voices, a blend they've been perfecting all their lives." Too bad tickets are a cool hundred bucks.
