Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Regardless of whether you're making a mural with deep artistic meaning or painting penises on a the side of a building in an alley, you probably know that spray painting is difficult. Learn some more about the practice by taking a gander at the work of Chicago's most noted spray-paint artists at Chicago Public Art Group's "Spray Can Slam!" Food and drink will be on hand.

If you're into all things animated, head to the Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation at Nightingale. The featured works include a wide range of animation techniques, including stop-motion, paper cutouts, and more.

Today marks the opening of the Museum of Contemporary Art's "The Way of the Shovel: Art as Archaeology." The exhibition explores how history and archaeology can inform contemporary art and features work dating back no further than 2000, including contributions by Jason Lazarus and Tony Tasset.
