Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Bill Cain's 9 Circles finishes its stint at the Storefront Theater. The show follows the aftermath of a soldier's brutal crime, featuring nods to Dante's view of damnation. Suzanne Scanlon calls it "haunting."

Salt Lake City's Ballet West presents The Lottery, Shirley Jackson's fucked-up tale told through dance, and there's a twist: the audience knows the ghastly outcome before the dancers do. One of our dance recommendations for fall.

Next to Normal, the Tony-winning show following a family plagued by mental illness, finishes off its local run. Tony Adler calls it "witty, wry, surprisingly tuneful, and utterly compelling."
