Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

For Philip Caputo's newest memoir, The Longest Road, the Pulitzer Prize winner traveled from America's southernmost point to its northernmost point reachable by road to explore how the hell these United States stay united. He discusses the book today at the Tribune Tower.

No, the members of Twin Peaks still can't order an alcoholic beverage at the bars they pack full of fans, but that shouldn't stop you from catching the band at Schubas tonight, where they celebrate the vinyl reissue of their fantastic EP Sunken.

Last summer, playwright Luis Alfaro and director Chay Yew set Sophocles's Oedipus Rex in modern-day LA for Oedipus el Rey, a play that Tony Adler called a "marvel." This summer, they present Mojada, which shifts Euripides's Medea into Pilsen, with Jason and Medea as undocumented immigrants from Mexico. See it tonight at Victory Gardens.
