I've wondered exactly in how many different ways Kevin Seconds can create a vocal melody with nothing much more than Whoooooaaa! Whooaa! Whoa!. But seeing that he's fronted Youth Crew pioneers 7 Seconds for nearly 34 years now—building a formidable catalog from The Crew forward of fast-and-faster hardcore punk (with a slight detour into reverb in the late 80s/early 90s)—it's probably safe to assume there's no bottom to the bag of sing-alongs. The band just released it's first new piece of music in eight years, so let's go ahead and honor "My Aim Is You" as today's 12 O'Clock Track. The track is scheduled to be released on a seven-inch through Rise Records come October 1. Positive vibes for life.

And just so you know, Kevin Seconds, who also maintains a steady solo career—not unlike many aged punker front men who can wield acoustic guitars—will be visiting Township on August 7.
