Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

If you're ever lucky enough to come back to life as a zombie after you die, chances are you won’t have the good sense to do anything besides stagger around and catch bullets with your skull. The Chicago Zombie Prom, hosted by the Bottom Lounge, is a chance to live a more fun undead future in the present. Zombie makeup is required, but you can get a $10 makeover when you get there.

The Sketchbook Project is a crowd-sourced library of sketchbooks submitted by over 27,000 people from over 130 countries. The majority sit in Brooklyn Art Library, but 4,500 from this year's collection tour the country in a traveling library, which stops at Chicago Arts District today. Stop by to peruse the catalog and submit sketchbooks of your own.

At Women & Children First, Sarah Bruni reads from her debut novel, The Night Gwen Stacy Died, a coming-of-age thriller about a 17-year-old Iowa gas station attendant and a cab-driving customer who loosely take on the personalities of Spider-Man characters. Eleni O'Connor writes that Bruni is "always strong on memory and its influence on our present lives," and that the work is "full of nice moments—small observations carefully rendered."
