Street View 096: SAIC's the Walk 2013

Street View is a fashion series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights some of the coolest style seen in Chicago.

I shot Maya-Camille during this year's the Walk, a showcase of capsule collections by the School of the Art Institute students. Among a sea of fashionistas dressed to the nines, she stood out due to her colorful head wrap/hot pink trousers combo. As I speculated in a previous post, if you want to show who's boss make sure to wear an attention-grabbing item on your head. I love Maya's because it's in a bold, impact-causing size, but subdued by her casual, clean styling.
