Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

There are few things that go together as well as books and booze. Or purchasing books while under the influence of booze. That's the thinking, anyway, behind Curbside Splendor and the Chicago Writer's House's Pop-Up Book Fair, which for five hours will turn the Empty Bottle into a bookstore.

Bitchin' Purge II: The Ladies Strike Back, at Jerry's, features women from the service industry who share stories about the funniest, meanest, and craziest customers they've served.

At Gallery Cabaret, the Chicago Television Project highlights "the work of individuals in the city committed to producing fun and engaging programming for children," while also exploring the history of Chicago children's television shows.
