Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

At Book Cellar, Dianna Harris talks about Gold Coast Madam: The Secret Life of Rose Laws, which she coauthored with the Gold Coast Madam herself.

City Winery hosts Downtown Seder, an interactive comedic performance dedicated to the Jewish tradition, in which attendees are "seated at long family-style tables, each set with traditional accoutrements and alongside the performers, who creatively expound on various sections of the Passover Haggadah."

Manchester band the 1975 "approach arena rock the way an outsider artist might—they don't even seem aware that their deconstructions of its powerful, soaring riffs are as odd in their own way as anything in an out-of-the-way avant-garde gallery," writes Leor Galil. They're at Subterranean tonight.
