Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

Today begins Polar Bear Awareness Week at Lincoln Park Zoo, which will feature special presentations and lectures exploring the reasons behind the dwindling population of this endangered species.

Michael Hainey, native Chicagoan and GQ deputy editor, sits down at the Harold Washington Library Center with Bill Savage of Northwestern University to discuss Hainey's memoir, After Visiting Friends: A Son's Story, which details his life after the death of his father, Sun-Times reporter Bob Hainey.

Amos Guiora, law professor at the University of Utah, discusses "why targeted killing decisions must reflect consideration of four distinct elements: law, policy, morality, and operational details, thus ensuring that it complies with principles of domestic and international laws" in a lecture titled "Legitimate Target: A Criteria Based Approach to Targeted Killing" at the University of Chicago's International House.
