New study shows adults have a pretty consistent idea of how tall they are

Irish researchers intrigued by the human mind have been looking closely at how adults perceive their heights and weights. The story of their findings made page three of the Monday Tribune.

"What researchers discovered," reports the Tribune, "was that while people routinely misjudged their true dimensions, their weight estimates had grown increasingly inaccurate through time. But their height estimates remained more or less constant."

No explanation was given for this wildly counter-counterintuitive behavior.
