Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

Jazz supergroup Extraordinary Popular Delusions, which features Jim Baker, Steve Hunt, Brian Sandstrom, and Mars Williams, perform their last set of 2012 at the Beat Kitchen, where they've gathered on a weekly basis to display their "set of totally free improvisation," according to Bill Meyer.

At the Greater Grand Crossing branch of the Chicago Public Library, Reader senior writer Steve Bogira moderates a discussion between Kartemquin filmmakers Gordon Quinn and Peter Kuttner, where they'll discuss the city's issues with segregation in addition to screening some of their original documentaries, including UE/Wells, Winnie Wright, Age 11, and Trick Bag.

Bret Slater, a Dallas-based painter, presents new acrylic works at Thomas Robertello Gallery, as part of his solo exhibition "An Amulet That Matters."
