Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

One of Ernest Lubitsch's last German productions, the 1922 historical epic The Loves of Pharoah, screens at the Gene Siskel Film Center. J.R. Jones calls it "impressive for its sense of scale: the narrative shifts easily from staggering long shots involving hundreds of extras to an intimate, often comic love story reminiscent of Lubitsch's best-loved Hollywood talkies."

Hidden Shamrock hosts the Q&A-style literary series "The Chicago Way." At this edition the guest author is thriller writer Sean Chercover (The Trinity Game).

Freshly shaved and ready to rock, Matisyahu stops by the Congress Theater in Logan Square. The Dirty Heads and Moon Taxi open.
