William "Burial" Bevan and Kieran "Four Tet" Hebden both have a habit of sculpting intricate but nonetheless danceable electronic dance music from nonsynthesized organic sounds, but despite that similarity they make fairly wildly different stuff on their own—Hebden creates a warm kind of postsingularity house music, and Bevan works an icily existential take on dubstep. Put the two of them together, though, and they somehow play up each other's idiosyncrasies and strengths while being considerably more accessible than either one is solo. Their third collaboration is today's 12 O'Clock Track.
