I suspect my editor has been spending too much time on Wikipedia. These are her comments on a story I recently turned in for the Reader:

—These edits in a nutshell: This was nominated as a good article but did not meet the good article criteria. There are suggestions below for improving the article. Once these are addressed, the article can be renominated.

—This section may be too long or excessively detailed. Please make it as concise as possible but no more concise.

—This phrase is unclear. Please disambiguate.

—This section does not cite any references or sources. Please add citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed.

—This section may require rewriting for grammar, style, cohesion, tone, or spelling. Try using your Wiktionary once in a while, OK? Preferably the English one.

—The neutrality of this paragraph is disputed. Please do not remove this message until the dispute is resolved.

—The article has an excess of jargon. Please make it accessible to more readers.

—When updating this article, be bold, but not reckless. Feel free to try to improve the article, but don't take it personally if your changes are reversed.
