Columbia College's annual Story Week Festival of Writers ends tonight with "Chicago Classics," in which guests from Chicago's literary community read from works by their favorite Chicago authors.

It's at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln, 6-8 PM, and it's free. Tribune writer and man-about-town Rick Kogan emcees.

It'll be interesting to see what everyone picks. I'm guessing we'll hear plenty of Algren, Terkel, Dybek, Bellow etc, but I'm also hoping for some surprises.

Here's the lineup of tonight's readers:

Richard Babcock, Chicago Magazine editor
Danielle Chapman, Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs director of publishing industry programs
Don De Grazia, author of American Skin, Columbia College prof
Kimberly Dixon, Guild Complex director
Steve Edwards, WBEZ program director
Catherine Hally, Poetry Foundation director of online initiatives
Brian Hieggelke, NewCity editor
Rick Kogan
Alex Kotlowitz
Quraysh Ali Lansana
Valya Dudycz Lepescu, Chicago Literary Hall of Fame cofounder
Jerome Ludwig, Chicago Reader editorial coordinator
Jonathan Messinger, TimeOut Chicago books editor
Audrey Niffenegger
Achy Obejas
Bayo Ojikutu
Donna Seaman, Booklist associate editor,
Ellen Placey Wadey, former director of the Guild Complex
Sam Weller, author, Columbia College prof
Sandi Wisenberg, author, Northwestern University prof
