One of the more competitive races to follow while you're waiting for the Illinois polls to close. Here's why it's an important race.

Update: In the department of House races that aren't remotely local and may interest only myself, Rick Boucher is losing in Virginia's "Fightin' Ninth." In 2008 I wrote about why I like Boucher, in small part because he's very tangentially responsible for my job.

Update And Donnelly (the Democrat) takes the lead in the 2nd with 53% reporting.

Update II Indiana's 1st and 2nd districts are leaning Democrat. That's okay news for Dems.

Update III Mark Kirk on Iran, which gets a thumbs down from Daniel Larison.
