Allegory Overload

Washington Post, October 30, 1937. I'm sort of partial to these old-school editorial cartoons, so charmingly overstuffed, didactic and perfectly unfunny. But this one is close to bursting with all of its helpfully labeled allegorical figures. Other things being equal, I think "Uncertainty" might have been left out. "Extra Session" refers to a special session of Congress that FDR called to enact minimum wages and maximum hours of work.
