Political Rapper Gets More Literal About It

Rhymefest has long included political and sociological commentary in his raps, and his activism has led to dealings with politicians as highly placed as David Cameron, the current prime minister of the UK. So it's not surprising to hear that he's running for 20th Ward alderman. It's inspiring, extremely cool, and somehow deeply Chicagoan in a way that's hard to put a finger on—but not surprising. This will be story we'll follow pretty closely around here.
