This is the swan song of Split Pillow, the seven-year old nonprofit that's produced dozens of local films, a number of them in a collaborative, Exquisite Corpse format. Split Pillow is folding at the end of the year due to funding shortfalls, spinning off its youth video program MediaStart! as a new independent group.

Split Pillow productions have included Life as Lincoln, The Christians, soulMaid, and the annual Chicago360 documentary series, which tonight premieres its fifth and final installment, the very last Split Pillow film.

Chicago360 v.5: Aliens in the City, includes various takes on outsiders in our midst: Daniel Ramos's survey of West Division Street, Paseo Boricua, Kevin Golden's International Mr. Leather showcase Crowned & Bound, Anu Rana and Laurie Little's Pride, about artists with disabilities, Jessica Kivnik's Asian carp exposé Carp: A Four Letter Word, and Alex Mechlin's street performer portrait Music in the Air.

Aliens in the City screens tonight at 7:45 p.m. and Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. at the Gene Siskel Film Center, 164 N. State St., and Saturday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave.
