If the Recession Is Over, Why Are Skirts Getting Longer?

You know the old theory that posits that
shorter hemlines signal a bullish economy? If that's true, better batten down the financial hatches: midis and long skirts reappeared on the runways for spring/summer 2011 (although
hemlines were all over the place, signaling more tumultous times, perhaps).
They're already wearing longer skirts in London. Start hoarding canned goods now.
