Five-time Oscar-nominated composer George Fenton (Gandhi, Cry Freedom, Dangerous Liaisons, The Fisher King) conducts the Grant Park Orchestra, accompanying highlights from the BBC nature series Planet Earth, for Planet Earth Live, part of the Grant Park Music Festival.

Planet Earth Live plays Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. at Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St. It's free. There are open rehearsals Tuesday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Wednesday at 11 a.m.
