On Daylight and Art Damage

One of the weird side effects of fests is that they frequently bring artists best suited for shadowy environments out into the sunlight. I like El-P for the dark, claustrophobic feeling his records generate. Seeing him outside in the fresh air and broad daylight is confusing on a certain level. His set was still brilliant. Or at least what I caught of it. The sun is brutal and I don't have my festival legs yet, so I listened from somewhere with shade.

Liars are on now. I love them for keeping it weird but still managing to be somehow popular enough to deserve a spot on the main stage. Angus is probably the sweatiest person here.
