Tonight at 6pm, Northwestern's Block Museum of Art (40 Arts Circle Dr., 847-491-4000) hosts an all-star panel of comic artists discussing "how the graphic novel is making its impact on the literary scene." It's free.

Speaking of Nilsen, if you haven't read Jessica Hopper's cover story, Grief Made Graphic: Anders Nilsen dealt with the death of his fiancee the best way he knew how: by drawing comics, I highly recommend it.
