Jennifer Jordan Days Make a Mate

"If you were at a store creating your perfect partner what would be in your basket?"

That's the question behind Jennifer Jordans Day's stop motion Make a Mate, one of 17 under-10 minute films and music videos screening in the 1st Annual South Loop Film Festival.

Also playing: Ellen Lake's Betty and Johnny, Justin Brewer's Chuck's Third Date, Devon Ford's Never: Peter, Soyeon Kim's Father and Sister, Michael Forstein's This is Sex, Noah Riemer's Most Wonderful People , Mario Contreras's Bisnieta, Richard Paro's Allison, My Love, Dubi Kaufman's Lix, Stephen Neary's Chicken Cowboy, Owen Dennis's The Greatest Ape , Andy Schlachtenhauf's Wayne, Ron Gilman's Rawman and Green-Girl, Anna Krutzik's Oh, Paprika, Cody Stokes's Heartland Transport, and John Akre's I Feel Tight.

The South Loop Film Festival is Thursday 4/8 at 7:30 p.m. at ShowPlace ICON, 150 W. Roosevelt Rd. Filmmaker Q&A follows the screening $10 includes "swag bag." Proceeds benefit BeyondMedia Education.
