To celebrate the American Theater Company’s 25th anniversary, artistic director P.J. Paparelli asked 30 playwrights to choose a year between 1985 and 2010 and write a short play that explores the question, "What does it mean to be an American?" On Monday 2/8 at 7:30 PM, ATC (1909 W. Byron) will present the first installment of plays, collectively billed as the Silver Project. Monday's program covers the years 2000 to 2005, and includes the plays Quality of Life by Steven Belber, There Was So Much We Were Going To Do by Itamar Moses, So Unlike Me by Yussef El Guindi, Pee in the School by Stephen Karam, and Famous Blue Raincoat by Brian Tucker. To RSVP, call the box office at 773-409-4124.
