Today is a very good day for very long MP3s being given away online.

Twitter buddy and DJ extraordinaire Tommie Sunshine has posted a link to a page that's hosting a metric fuckload of Ron Hardy set tapes. Required listening for anyone interested in the art of the DJ, the roots of house music, Chicago history, or just funkiness in general. They're low fidelity, but that can't obscure the quality of Hardy's work.

Meanwhile Chunklet honcho, punk rock archivist, and soon-to-be Sharp Darts subject Henry Owings has posted another live recording, this one of a 1991 Lungfish show in Baltimore. While no mere recording can capture the furious psychedelic maelstrom that is the Lungfish live experience, it is a very good tape job nonetheless.
