Tonight at 6:30 PM at Columbia College (Room 101, Ferguson Lecture Hall, 600 S. Michigan), artist Emory Douglas gives a free talk on his work as Minister of Culture for the Black Panther Party from the 1960s till the 1980s. Douglas received his graphics training in both a prison print shop and a California art school, and will discuss his work as well as Panther propaganda and political history. A Q and A follows his hour-long slide show.
