The Toe Tactic

  • Animator Emily Hubley, who created the "Origin of Love" sequence in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, appears with her live action and animated feature The Toe Tactic in a free screening Monday 10/5 at Columbia College. The Toe Tactic features music by Hubley's sister Georgia Hubley's band Yo La Tengo, which plays the Vic Tuesday 10/6.

    The film follows a grieving girl whose life is manipulated by a quartet of extradimensional poker playing dogs. Featuring Jane Lynch, Kevin Corrigan and John Sayles, and the voice of of David Cross (who performed Sunday 10/4 at the Congress Theater) as one of the dogs.

    The Toe Tactic screens Monday 10/5 at 7 PM at Columbia College, 1104 S. Wabash, Room 402.
