What was so great about the Great Depression?  The folks at Brando's Speakeasy (343 S. Dearborn) know: breadlines and burlesque. They're combining the two in a free event featuring local "classic burlesque" group Vaudezilla. "Black Tuesdays"--every Tuesday in May at 7 PM--will feature free bread, soup, and gazooks-inspiring performances from Red Hot Annie, Donna Touch, Wham Bam Pam, Bonny Babs, and the other ladies of Vaudezilla. The group also performs "Boobies in Bloom," a free burlesque show, Thursdays in May at 10 PM at Blue Bayou Bar & Grill (3734 N. Southport).
