Transition Chicago presents a screening tonight of excerpts from Chris Martenson's video series Crash Course, about peak oil, the economic crisis, and community-based sustainability initiatives. After the screening, Transition Chicago hosts a discussion on the international Transition Town movement. According to organizers, "this is an opportunity to meet with other like-minded people and learn about what is going on here in Chicago to plan for a low energy future." It's free at 6:30 PM at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library, 1701 N. Milwaukee. Bring your own food and drinks.
