4/25 -- Julie Fowlis sings at the Cultural Center

Scottish songstress Julie Fowlis performs at the Chicago Cultural Center's Claudia Cassidy Theater (78 E Washington) on Saturday at 7 PM, the second in a series of three free concerts at the cultural center this month. Fowlis was the BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year" in 2008, and sings exclusively in Scottish Gaelic, a language spoken by less than sixty thousand.
