4/19 -- A Working Man's Guide to the World's Columbian Exposition

Pocket Guide to Hell Tours presents "A Working Man's Guide to the World's Columbian Exposition," a history of the 1893 expo focusing on the lives of the working-class men and women who built and landscaped the White City, this Sunday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM (there'll also be tours Sat 4/25 and Sun 5/3 at the same time). It’ll be aimed at people familiar with Erik Larson’s Devil in the White City and Daniel Burnham’s work. RSVP required to pgdurica@hotmail.com, limit 30 participants per tour. Meet outside the Museum of Science and Industry (57th and Lake Shore Dr.).
