In case you're having trouble waiting till the April 21 domestic release of King Khan & the Shrines' What Is?! (Vice), you can stream all 15 tracks right now for free on Imeem (and download the tune "Land of the Freak").

Originally released on Germany's Hazelwood imprint in 2007, it's a stellar record packed with gritty garage-soul goodness, with the incomparable (and perhaps a little nutty) King Khan at the reins. But as wild as the album gets, it can't compare to the bedlam that ensues pretty much every time King Khan and crew get onstage--and they're coming back to Chicago on May 15 to play the Bottom Lounge. If you caught the Shrines at Pitchfork last year or the King Khan & BBQ Show on Halloween, you already know what I'm talking about. The show's likely to sell out, so I highly recommend grabbing your tickets soon.
