No matter what happens, this will probably be the best quote to come out of this whole thing:

Steve Chapman, writing against the grain of the Tribune editorial board, has some real, honest conversation. And Fran Spielman points out that our "democratically elected king" doesn't always get what he wants when he goes all in (though she neglects to mention Millennium Park, which got built at three times its original estimates and at considerable and not-predicted expense to the taxpayers).
