The Midwest Independent Film Festival is offering free passes to tonight's preview screening of The Great Buck Howard, a comedy starring John Malkovich as a once-famous mentalist. Tom Hanks and his son Colin play father and son, and Emily Blunt costars. The screening is tonight at 7:30 PM at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema, 2828 N. Clark St.  Click here to get passes.  Having a pass doesn't guarantee you'll get in, so arrive early.

MWFF runs the first Tuesday of every month at Century Centre. Next up: the midwest premiere of The Merry Gentleman, the directorial debut of Michael Keaton, which was shot in Chicago. Keaton stars as a depressed hit man who gets involved with a murder witness (Kelly Macdonald). It screens Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 PM.
