Two films about kids lacking adult supervision screen tonight starting at 7:30 at the tenth edition of the Chicago Irish Film Festival

2009 Irish Film and Television Award-winning director Lance Daly's feature Kisses follows a runaway girl and boy on Christmas night in inner city Dublin.

That's preceded by David Cooke's World War II short The Morse Collectors, about a brother and sister with different interpretations of the mysterious messages they discover. Tickets are $10; $8 for Beverly Arts Center members.

The Chicago Irish Film Festival continues through tomorrow at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St.  Tomorrow there's a closing reception and the audience will vote for their favorite from a collection of animated and live action shorts. $20 ticket includes music, food and two drinks.  Members, $15.
