It's no secret that the digital shorts by Andy Samberg and his compadres in the Lonely Island are responsible for almost every non-Palin-related LOL that Saturday Night Live has produced in the past couple years. Today Stereogum posted the track list for the group's upcoming album, Incredibad. It's essentially a greatest-hits compilation--"Lazy Sunday," "Natalie's Rap" with Natalie Portman, "Jizz in My Pants"--padded out with some new material. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, and I'm very, very curious about what "I'm on a Boat (feat. T-Pain)" will sound like. But on the other hand I do not see myself needing to hear "Dick in a Box" again for at least 40 years.

Old-school Lonely Island fans know the real heat is on the original Incredibad album, which the trio released a couple years ago through its Web site. The musical-parody elements are more specific--they knock on the Ying Yang Twins, the Beastie Boys, and Dr. Dre/Eminem duets, among others--and the lyrics are better. "I Think I Killed the President" is a first-person account of a Manchurian Candidate-style hypno-assassination told in the style of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince. "Stork Patrol" is about men who are sexually attracted to storks. The videos for "Bing Bong Brothers" and "Just 2 Guyz" will be on the DVD that comes with the upcoming Incredibad, and you can watch them below.

I should probably note that although I think the old Incredibad stuff is completely hilarious and for a while several of those tracks were solidly in my iTunes Top 25 list, most other people I've played the stuff for find it to be extremely irritating. But then again those people don't know funny.
