St. Boniface, the beautiful, long-abandoned church in Noble Square at Noble & Chestnut behind Eckart Park, is 90 days from demolition, assuming that the just-applied-for permit is accepted, reports Chicago Journal (h/t swanksalot). In 2003 Lynn Becker wrote about plans to adapt the building. Saintbonifaceinfo.com is a great resource, with old interior shots and ones taken last year.
