The musical question "Why can't a woman be more like a man?" will get answered in a way Lerner and Loewe probably never contemplated at About Face Theatre's LGBTQ-friendly holiday party, 12/11, 12, and 14. About Face managing director Rick Dildine directs a concert performance of My Fair Lady in which "Eliza Doolittle is a young aspiring drag queen with everything to learn and Henry Higgins is the queen who takes [her] under her wing." Bring new scarves, hats, and gloves for donation to homeless kids through Howard Brown's Broadway Youth Center. Thu-Fri 12/11-12, 7 PM, Sun 12/14, 3 PM, Hoover-Leppen Theatre, Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted, 866-811-4111, aboutfacetheatre.com, $20 (includes two drinks).
