I'm fine with Kanye's use of Auto-Tune, but that doesn't mean Death of Autotune isn't hilarious. The second best subversion of M.O.P.'s "Ante Up" behind "Bert & Ernie tries gangsta rap," which I watch when I'm down.

The New Yorker's great music critic Sasha Frere-Jones has done some good work on Auto-Tune. Fun fact: it comes from software developed for oil industry seismic data exploration (hardcore sonar, basically). He also has a podcast on the subject in which he gets Auto-Tuned.
