I thought corporate giveaways -- like the Midway Airport deal -- were bad here in Chicago. But according to Jim Dwyer's weekend column in the New York Times, the same thing's going on in New York City.

The contrast between former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and the school librarian is beyond belief.
