The Chicago campus of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (909 W. Montrose) is offering free acupuncture treatments for active-duty military, veterans, and family members with valid military ID every Monday from 1 to 9 PM starting September 8. The treatment takes place in a community setting with six people and involves five needles in each ear; it's meant to alleviate stress- and trauma-related issues. For more information, call program director Martina Moore at 773-216-3146.
