A Dark Knight in a city that knows how to buy its tickets

The Dark Knight: probably going to be a hit. From an e-mail I just got:

"There has been talk of some of us trying to go and see The Dark Knight together. Hopes were high that we would be able to see it on the IMAX -- but all decent showtimes are sold out for until Monday afternoon (July 21)"

Here's the six-minute IMAX trailer. I have no idea why it is that having a movie filmed where you live is exciting, but it is. My only previous experience with that is the lake scenes in What About Bob?; when I was a kid I got to see the charred remains of the blown-up house.
