It appears that Sam Zell will soon be selling Newsday to Rupert Murdoch, which would give Murdoch three NYC papers. Meanwhile the Cubs--who are as good as I've ever seen them--are still on the market. When did it become cooler to own a newspaper than a baseball team? Obviously I like newspapers, but if I was a billionaire my priorities would probably be different.
