In 2007 Malian musician Lobi Traoré, famous at home for his "Bambara Blues" and abroad for collaborations with stars including Ali Farka Touré and Bonnie Raitt, teamed up with Dutch blues musician Joep Pelt to release I Yougoba. They perform together Wednesday night in the first show of the Old Town School of Folk Music's new concert series "AfroFolk: Music and Culture of the African Diaspora."
