Rent-a-Wright

Posted By on 03.03.08 at 11:59 AM

The New York Times has a roundup of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed homes that are available for rent. The closest to here is the Muirhead Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, outside Elgin, which was built for one of the oldest families in Kane County. In Wisconsin, the gorgeous Seth Peterson Cottage and the Life magazine dream-home-selection Bernard Schwartz House are a bit more opulent and pricey. Related: if you find yourself in Cloquet, Minnesota, you can get a modernist architectural experience and a tank of gas at an FLW-designed gas station.
