The Ma Nugent Memorial

Posted By on 08.01.07 at 04:17 PM

Ted Nugent will be in town today to dedicate a "rock & roll monument" in Palatine to his mom, just outside Durty Nellie's, according to a press release. "Ma" Nugent was a Palatine resident for 28 years. "Ma Nugent's Mail," her advice column, ran in the Illinois Entertainer from 1980 to 1988.

Chicagoland hair-rock correspondent KJH writes: "I never knew the Nuge had a mortal mother. Seriously, a tiny bit of tears filming the eyes right now. Nice fwd."
