* PBS has a wide-ranging interview with Reader contributor Chris Ware (via kottke)

* Fellow Reader comics contributor Ben Katchor is giving a slide show about his work on Wednesday at the Abbey Pub as part of the frequently wonderful Nextbook series.

* Taking your road rage out online: safer, creepier

* WFMT's Andrew Patner on the Sun-Times page: nothing but hits. Recently he sat down with Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, who counts among his heroes Ozzie Guillen and Luis Aparicio.

* Side note in the Dudamel interview: a documentary about the nationwide (in Venezuela) musical program that produced him screens Wednesday as part of the Chicago Latino Film Festival.

* As an unrepentent cat person, I think this is a good idea.
